Big Al will meet your party in the beautiful Taos Ski Valley parking lot, and personally lead you to our secluded Cowboy Camp at 10,000 feet, where you will learn from a real cowboy how to properly and safely ride a horse. After you are comfortably mounted on the horse we have chosen especially for you, your horseback riding adventure begins!

Our horseback rides offer you an experience that simply can not be matched by anyone else. Big Al will take you on the most scenic, and rider-friendly trails the mountains offer. Rising to nearly 12,000 feet, our horseback rides will give you an opportunity to enjoy truly spectacular views that can only be found in the Taos Ski Valley. After the ride is over, feel free to enjoy a cool drink and a delicious snack while you spend some time in our private Cowboy Camp (where Bighorn sheep and deer are known to frequent). If your time in Taos permits, we encourage you to join us for a spectacular horseback ride, then spend the night at our wonderful Cowboy Camp complete with a flame-cooked Chuck Wagon dinner, and a freshly prepared sunrise breakfast in the morning!
